Job Duties of a Hotel Receptionist:

• Responsible for assisting with inquiries, including verbal, telephonic, and electronic
• Administrate all reservations, including cancellations and modifications.
• Greeting guests and welcoming visitors, assisting guest check-ins and check-outs
• Guest services i.e. Advice on local tours, general information to guests, problem-solving, managing complaints and feedback
• Inventory management/ allocation of rooms to meet the needs of a diverse range of guests.
• Lost property – contact the guest and arrange a return
• Assisting with airport transfers for guests
• Responsible for the opening and closing duties of the reception desk
• General Reception cleaning
• Administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and reporting
• Provide support to the Housekeeping team as required
