Job Duties of a Warehouse Assistant at National Batteries Company:
- Carries out a range of warehouse and store activities to ensure the smooth flow and availability of goods into and out of the business.
- Provide support and guidance to more junior colleagues
- Deal with inbound/outbound operations, processing information, and documentation as required.
- Interact with internal/external contacts to manage information on customer orders, supplier shipments, and product availability4. Coordinate the ordering, distribution, and tracking of inventory. Provide assistance on matters related to finished products packaging materials planning and management
- Coordinate sales/maintenance/production order entry into systems and maintain vendor/supplier/customer records
- Schedule inbound/outbound logistics in terms of establishing arrival terms. Prepare daily receiving/deliveries and shipping schedules.
