Job Duties of a Shop Assistant at Wokitup:

1. The candidate will be responsible for directing cafe employees in everyday operations like cooking, food presentation, food serving, and supplies handling.
2. Provide advice on menu preparation, recipe standards, portion control, waste management, etc.
3. Keeping a record of/ ordering food supplies/ kitchen inventory/ customer visits every day/ sales, etc. Similarly, they are in charge of checking deliveries.
4. Planning and controlling cafe budget.
5. Coordinating activities of staff responsible for food production, preparation, and serving, such as chefs, waiters, dishwashers, kitchen assistants, etc.
6. Coordinating with guest reception staff to execute Guests Relationship Management.
7. Ensuring the proper cleaning of the kitchen and work areas.
8. Having a sound knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards and ensuring their proper observance by the kitchen staff.
9. Organizing and managing cafe events.
