Trilogy International Limited is looking for a new sales superstar to join our flagship retail store in the Commercial Bay shopping precinct in downtown central Auckland.
 
The role will be part-time and the successful candidate will work a minimum of 10 hours a week split across 2 full days – hours/days will be negotiated with potential candidates but must involve 1 weekend day.
 
The successful candidate will need to be able to provide outstanding service to customers, ensuring that every sales opportunity is maximized.  Additional responsibilities include ensuring the store is well presented and merchandised in line with the company guidelines at all times and that all sales and re-stocking policies and procedures are completed.

Job Responsibilities of a Retail Sales Consultant at Trilogy International Limited:

Sales

• Meet & greet all customers who enter the store.
• Educate and provide advice to customers on the ECOYA brand and products.
• Upsell/multi-sell products where possible.
• Respond appropriately to all customer inquiries or returns.
• Always ensure a high level of customer service is offered to every consumer.

Stock Control

• Replenish stock on shop floor when required.
• Receive inwards stock and process through the system accordingly.
• Ensure any required documentation on deliveries is completed and filed correctly.
• Place stock on shelves or in storage units as directed. Ensure all boxes/packaging are promptly removed from the shop floor.

Merchandising

• Display products in line with promotional and merchandising directives.
• Ensure pricing is correct in POS system and pricing stand. 

Point of Sale responsibilities

• Balance stock register as directed.
• Balance tills and comply with all cash handling procedures as directed and as stipulated in the procedures manual.
• Report any discrepancies to the Retail Manager.
• Be aware of any fraudulent credit cards and procedures for handling these.
• Keeping sales area clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure daily foreign exchange rates are correctly uploaded into the POS system.

Other

• Manage any customer complaints in an efficient and appropriate manner and escalate to the Retail Manager if required.
• Ensure store is kept clean and tidy, shelves dusted.
• Stocktaking as directed.
• Open and close store when required.
• Be aware of any shoplifting and report any concerns to the Retail Manager.
• Comply with Health and Safety procedures/regulations.
