Tasks and responsibilities that come with holding this position

As a Product Designer, you will work as a member of a Product Delivery Team, which means you will collaborate with a variety of professionals in the fields of user experience (UX), technology, products, and data. You will provide assistance to the team in the development of goods that are aesthetically beautiful and efficiently address the business concerns that are being experienced by our clients.

We collaborate with a number of Tier 1 financial institutions to produce web-based tools for the management of AML, KYC, and Sanctions Lists. These products are developed by our company. Individuals that are interested in advancing into the Big Data or FinTech industries are a good fit for this role because it provides the opportunity to do so.

Participate in each stage of the product design cycle, beginning with the conception of the initial idea and continuing through the handing off of responsibility for the project to the developers and the phase in which end users test the product.

• In order to guide product design, it is important to work in collaboration with other business analysts, product managers, and technical teams.
• Keep a high degree of quality throughout the design process, and make sure that the resulting code is as accurate a reflection of the original design specifications as is humanly possible. Check that the quality of the code was maintained.
• During the planning sessions, you should make sure that an accurate estimate of the number of design tickets is received.
• Participate in sketching sessions with individuals who are not designers and attend sketching sessions with those individuals.User interface deliverables like sketch files, style guides, micro interaction requirements, high-fidelity prototypes, and pattern libraries can be developed, modified, and kept up to date by the developer.
• You can ensure that design decisions are based on data by generating hypotheses that can be tested throughout the course of each sprint and by organizing moderated usability test meetings with the analysts that are a part of your team. Both of these steps can be done in conjunction with one another.
• Be sure that your user interfaces are both responsive and pixel-perfect, and bear in mind that it is preferable for the user experience to make use of common interface patterns rather than to try to reinvent the wheel. It is also important to keep in mind that it is preferable to make use of conventional interface patterns.
• During Show and Tell sessions, employees get the opportunity to present their work to the rest of the company.

Skill & Experience

• You have worked in the field of Product Design for a period of at least three years.
• You are an expert user of Sketch, InVision, or Framer X, all of which are design software tools.
• You have past experience working in an iterative and collaborative setting. Think of your job in terms of time periods called sprints, which typically last for two weeks. You are accustomed to integrating Jira and Confluence into your workflow, and you have experience doing so.
