Job Description
You will be part of a Product Delivery Team that integrates UI, engineering, product, and data talent as part of your role as a Product Designer. You will lend a hand to the team in the process of designing lovely interfaces that offer solutions to the problems that our customers experience in their businesses. Building web-based solutions for anti-money laundering, know-your-customer, and sanctions list management workflows is an area in which we collaborate with a number of Tier 1 banks. This position is perfect for you if you are trying to transition your career into the big data or fintech industries.
Principal Obligations and Duties
Participate in all aspects of the product design cycle, from the initial phase of discovery to the final phases of user acceptability testing and developer handoff.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and technical teams in order to lead Product Design.
- Uphold the quality of the design process, and check that the specifications of the designs are faithfully reflected in the implementation of those designs when they are converted into code.
- Ensure that your estimates for design tickets are spot on throughout the planning sessions.
- Contribute to drawing sessions that involve people who are not designers to develop, iterate, and maintain user interface deliverables such as sketch files, style guides, micro interaction specifications, and pattern libraries.
- Make sure that your design decisions are based on data by locating assumptions that need to be tested throughout each sprint, and collaborate with the analysts on your team to arrange moderated usability test sessions.
- Create pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces, and be aware that it is more beneficial to the user experience to adopt standard interface patterns than it is to reinvent the wheel.
- During Show and Tell sessions, you will present your work to the company as a whole.

Skill & Experience
- You have worked in the field of Product Design for a period of at least three years.
- You are familiar with utilizing Sketch in addition to either InVision or Framer X.
- You have some prior experience working in an agile setting, where tasks are broken down into iterative two-week sprints.
- You are comfortable utilizing Jira and Confluence as part of your workflow.
