Job Duties of a Primary Homeroom Teacher:
- Responsible for student learning from Grades 1-6 (Whatever Class you are assigned)
- Create Lesson plans and incorporate technologies like whiteboard animation, LED Smart Notepads, etc.
- Instruct students in basic Science, English, and, Maths.
- Divide the class into activity groups and design classroom/ homework tasks or activities.
- Mark and assess students’ performance and record it to inform parents.
- Work closely with the other grade-level teachers to ensure that students achieve their potential at the school.
- oversee all academic and nonacademic aspects of primary class/ classes.
- Set homework questions and grade them according to the school’s marking criteria.
- Arrange extracurricular activities including educational trips, enrichment events, class group fun activities, task activities, and all sport-related programs;
- Recording student progress and reporting it to parents.
- Implement mechanisms for psychological assistance to students, as appropriate.
