As a Governess, you will work with the girls to immerse them in the English language through structured and planned games, activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting their daily needs and offer learning at every opportunity.
You will also accompany them to and from the kindergarten, walks, and additional activities to promote good behavior, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model. You will also be responsible for meeting their daily needs and supervising the children’s meals, supporting and promoting the children’s independence, teaching them to clean up after meals and games, keep good hygiene, and their rooms and belongings clean and tidy. so there are no cooking or housekeeping duties.
The family will relocate to Dubai in the future and the children must be prepared for international schools in the UAE, with a focus now on developing their communicative skills. They are both beginners in the English Language. The girls are well-mannered, motivated & active – they love music & dancing and tennis. The household is fully staffed and there is a younger sibling, with his own nannies and you will be required to work as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess with a sporty nature and relevant childcare & teaching qualifications. A solid understanding of early years and primary education is required. The role is most suited to candidates who are energetic, engaging, and active.
The working schedule will be 6 days on / 1 day off. Saturday and Sunday are full working days (from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Weekdays will be a split shift starting from 8 a.m. – 9.30 a.m. and 18:00 to 20:00 p.m. Flexibility is required. The family is located in Moscow (Kaluzhskoe highway), and the nearest metro stations are Kommunarka or Buninskaya Alleya. This is a live-out position with a private apartment or rental allowance provided for the candidate. The family is currently in Moscow, but travels frequently to Dubai and planning to relocate in the coming year. The Governess will be required to relocate with them.
The salary on offer is £1100 – £1400 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. Interviews are taking place immediately with the position commencing ASAP.
