Job Duties of a Glazier:

• Measure, cut, shape, and install aluminum panels, windows, doors, and other products according to building codes, customer specifications, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, like glass cutters, and automated/ mechanic equipment to cut and shape glass to required dimensions and designs.
• Install and repair aluminum components, including window and door frames, hinges, locks, and handles.
• Make aluminum glass surface soft and seamless and polish glass edges using abrasives or grinding wheels to ensure safe handling and aesthetic appeal.
• Apply weather seals, adhesives, and caulking to ensure water/ moisture resistance.
• Proper Insulation for Structural Integrity.
• Read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings, and specifications, to craft appropriate glass sizes, types, and installation methods.
• Replace broken or damaged aluminum structures in windows, doors, or other structures, ensuring proper installation and alignment.
