Requirements of Beef Farm Worker Jobs in Australia with Visa Sponsorship

• Hold a current Australian driver’s license
• Have good time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Be a team player with good communication skills who is punctual, reliable, honest, motivated, and has a good attitude
• Having Computer literacy skills is ideal
• Have the ability to work independently or as part of a Team
• Take ownership, accountability and have pride in your work
• Having previous experience handling livestock, exposure working with livestock specifically cattle is preferred 
• Follow all company workplace health and safety requirements and policies
• Having machinery operating experience is preferred – Loaders, Telehandlers and John Deere tractors
• Being accredited with; Chem-Cert, First Aid training, Low Stress Stock Handling, HR licence is ideal but not essential
• Have the ability to work alternate rostered weekends

Job Duties of a Beef Farm Worker at Central Agri Group:

• All aspects of Animal husbandry including daily animal welfare checks, feeding, marking, vaccinating, drafting, joining, mustering cattle, moving cattle within the feedlot, loading and receiving cattle to and from the facility
• General Farm/Feedlot maintenance and upkeep, checking critical water infrastructure, tractor and machinery operation, paddock rotations, water trough and feed bunk cleaning/repairs, and general maintenance
• Maintenance of Farm and Feedlot infrastructure including but not limited to fencing, cattle yard Improvement, and critical water systems
